Barb Tanner

Barb is a jewelry artist and member of artZ Gallery who has been creating jewelry for several years. A lifelong learner, she enjoys discovering new methods of making jewelry and the camaraderie of creating along with other artists. “I still get a thrill of spotting new beads or a new way of using silver or copper,” said Barb. “With my notebook close by, I draw a picture and start visualizing what the bead or metal can be fashioned into.” Sometimes the material dictates what type of jewelry it wants to become. For Barb, the finishing of the piece, displaying it and then seeing others’ reaction to the jewelry is exciting and rewarding. 

Barb also has fun with paper crafts by creating small books, gift holders and bags! Each one is unique and special!
